We developed Fanstad to help content owners monetise their content on a platform they part own.
So, we’ve tried to make our terms and privacy policies as easy as possible for everyone to understand.
The rules apply equally to everyone.
Terms & Conditions
When you use Fanstad, please:
- Be nice and thoughtful of everyone else in your channel.
- Don’t post or upload anything you do not have permission to use or you know is openly available to use on your channel and in your packages; you agree to abide by our AUP (see below).
- Do not post anything that you would not want your six year old daughter or ninety year old grandmum to see.
- We know that it’s no longer fashionable, but try to be truthful and accurate in everything you post. We encourage the use of Fanstad to tell your stories and offer your point of view, but, honestly, the world isn’t flat.
- Do not try to hack, copy, duplicate or otherwise do bad things to our code and our platform that might result in you stealing our ideas or affecting the performance of the services we provide to everyone.
The decision of The Fanstad Team on any breaches of these conditions shall be final, but will have the right of appeal to our Appeals Committee.
In return we undertake to:
- Provide continuous service with as much uptime as possible
- Be transparent and accountable in all our commercial activities
- Keep your data safe and adhere to our Privacy policy
- Provide a safe place for you to tell your stories and share your content
Privacy
We treasure your privacy and your right to manage and maintain your own data, including any usage data.
At all times, we maintain and monitor the highest levels of security we are able to apply and your data is encrypted on our systems.
We know that passwords are a pain in the neck, but until someone invents a better system, please use a strong password and keep it secure and do not share it with anyone else. We encourage you to use our two factor security process.
We will never, ever pass on or sell your data without your permission.
Fanstad is currently hosted in the UK and is subject to UK privacy and data laws.
Vidlogics Acceptable Usage Policy
From time to time Vidlogics may impose rules and regulations regarding the use of its services. Such rules and regulations are referred to as the “Vidlogics Acceptable Usage Policy” or the “AUP.” This document is a non-exhaustive statement of the rules and regulations that are included in the AUP. Vidlogics reserves the right to modify the AUP at any time so long as the modifications are applied and enforced on a uniform, non-prejudicial basis among all of its customers. By registering for and using Vidlogics’s services, and thereby accepting the terms and conditions of the Vidlogics Subscription Agreement or its equivalent, you (the “Customer”) agree to abide by the AUP as modified from time to time. Any violation of the AUP, as determined at the sole discretion of Vidlogics, may result in the suspension or termination of Customer’s account or such other action as Vidlogics deems appropriate. An activity not listed in this document may also be a violation of the AUP if Vidlogics determines that the activity may be illegal, irresponsible, or a disruptive use of its services.
VIOLATION OF THE AUP IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND MAY RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF THE SERVICES THAT CUSTOMER RECEIVES FROM VIDLOGICS. CUSTOMER SHALL REMAIN SOLELY LIABLE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS USE OF VIDLOGICS’S SERVICES AND ANY AND ALL CONTENT THAT CUSTOMER DISPLAYS, UPLOADS, DOWNLOADS OR OTHERWISE TRANSMITS THROUGH THE USE OF SUCH SERVICES.
Lawful Purpose – the Vidlogics services may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any content in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or that Vidlogics determines could otherwise potentially give rise to civil or criminal liability, is prohibited. Without limiting the foregoing, Customer shall not post any content that is illegal, libelous, defamatory, tortious, fraudulent, or indecently depicts children. Using the Vidlogics services to solicit the performance of any illegal activity is also prohibited, even if the activity itself is not performed.
Proprietary Rights – the Vidlogics services may only be used for transmission of content where the relevant proprietary rights are observed. Transmission, distribution, or storage of any information, data or material in violation of any copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction is prohibited.
Offensive Content – Vidlogics reserves the right to prohibit posting of content that it determines is offensive or that could result in complaints or adverse action against Vidlogics by the public.
System And Network Security – violation of any system or network security measures implemented by Vidlogics or its service providers is strictly prohibited. Vidlogics may investigate incidents involving such violations and may involve and cooperate with law enforcement if a criminal violation is suspected. Enquiries regarding security matters may be directed to Vidlogics Support at [email protected].
Password Protection – customer is responsible for protecting its password and for any authorized or unauthorized use made of Customer’s password. Customer will not use or permit anyone to use Vidlogics’s service to guess passwords or to access other systems or networks without authorization.
Data Protection – by using the system, the Customer verifies that they are compliant with all relevant data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation and that they have introduced processes to ensure that all their staff and systems are compliant. They also undertake not to store ANY sensitive personal data on the system.
Disclaimer – Vidlogics does not assume any responsibility to monitor or police Customer’s usage of the Vidlogics services or the content displayed through such services. Vidlogics disclaims any responsibility for any illegal or inappropriate use by customers of its services or content or any violation of the AUP.
